After nap today, we loaded the boys up to endure the muddy farm and what a difference a year makes!! This year, Luke enjoyed EVERY aspect of the pumpkin patch and we didn't battle a single tear or doubt from him like we did last year, particularly on the hayride. While we waited for the hayride, Luke, Cohen, and I took a tour through the straw bail maze. Luke got a kick out of running into the "dead ends" and kept going back to them for more. He was so giddy! He loved sitting on the big red tractor and pretending to steer and shift. The hayride took us to a small petting zoo where he helped feed the goats, pet a bunny rabbit, watched the chickens stir around their pen, and chatted with the HUMONGOUS cow, urging him to "moo moo Mr. Cow". After the hayride back to the pumpkin patch, Luke quickly picked 2 pumpkins - one for him and one for Cohen. He and Zack also picked a bigger family pumpkin for us to carve tomorrow. Cohen was a trooper. He just hung out in the Bjorn until the hayride back to the patch when he started to get antsy so I took him out and let him ride on my lap. What an awesome family trip to the pumpkin patch this year! Lots of smiles! So fun!
