Luke tried 3 new foods today!!!!
First was lunch. I made a peanut butter on Arnold thin sandwich and cut it in half. I gave each boy half. Luke threw an absolute fit with screaming, crying, drooling, the whole nine yards. I explained to him that I know he likes bread and I know he likes peanut butter and that this was just putting them together as a sandwich. He refused! I didn't push too hard but did tell him that if he didn't like it, he could have something else but if he ate it then he could have some Doritos (which he was begging for instead of the sandwich). I pinched off a tiny piece and told him just to try it. He nibbled on it like a bunny would a carrot, the tiniest little nibbles and then declared, "mmmmm" he liked it! He at the whole half sandwich, followed by his Doritos. I was cutting strawberries for Cohen and put 3 little pieces on Luke's plate. I told him to try the strawberries and he could have another treat. He gobbled them up and ate half a cookie, then gobbled up 3 more whole strawberries, followed by another half of a cookie and some french fries.
At dinner, Zack was giving Cohen some applesauce and Luke declared that he likes applesauce, too, so we gave him a cup. He ate the whole thing!
We are feeling very proud of Luke today!!!! So happy to have him trying new things and really hoping it continues!!

First Family Zoo Trip
The weather was amazing today so we decided to take a drive to Columbia, SC to the Riverbanks Zoo. The boys had a great time running from exhibit to exhibit and seemed to like the larger animals the most. We will have to go back again this summer!
This elephant was cooling himself off by taking in a bunch of water from the watering hole and then spraying it on himself. Genius!
These dudes were quite acrobatic! They put on a show!
Cohen found a manhole and scooted all around it in a circle.
